Using The iPhone Calculator? Swipe To Undo
The Calculator App is one of the most used built-in apps on iPhone. There is a hidden feature built into this app that allows you to undo a number that was inputed incorrectly. It’s quite equivalent to the undo command (Command + Z) shortcut on macOS.
If you are typing numbers into the iOS calculator and want to go back a number or multiple numbers, simply swipe from left to right, or right to left in the area where the numbers are displayed! The first time I discovered this, my mind was blown. It was a moment of hmm, how long has this been there?! Let’s say you have to add multiple numbers or amounts together, you’re typing in the last number and you accidentally tap the wrong button? Well now instead of hitting the Clear option to start all over again, you can simply swipe that number right off your screen and proceed as if it never happened!
